Hard pedal, Slave cylinder movement, Stuck in Neutral
HELP MY TRUCK IS CURSED!!!! I have a 2000 Ford Ranger 3.0 V6 5 speed. I installed a new clutch, pressure plate, slave cylinder and clutch master Cylinder. Everything worked flawlessly. I bench bled the master then gravity bleed two reservoirs of fluid and had a nice hard pedal and great disengagement of the clutch. The only downside was the pushrod didn’t want to stay in the master. The seal that holds the pushrod was bad so I got a new master. Before installing I took everything apart again because I had to fix a small oil leak at the rear main seal but when reinstalling everything I got a firm pedal but no disengagement of the clutch. I bled the system 1000x took the master off and bench bled it 6x and I get a verity of barley able to get into gear vs no gear. I’m out of ideas how to bleed this stupid clutch because it has a mind of its own. Also, every time I take the master off to bleed it I can’t move the pushrod so I’m assuming there is absolutely no air in the system. Also the slave is traveling a lot in my opinion so I have no idea what the problem is. It’s as if I need 1mm more to disengage the clutch
