Shifting Issues

Truck wouldn't shift into gear when running. Took the clutch line off to bench bleed it, wasn't having any luck. Replaced line including master cylinder with one from NAPA that was assembled and pre-bled. Ran fine for about 5 days. Clutch got soft and then stopped shifting into gear today. Any ideas?

^First thing I'd check, slave cylinder is a common issue with these trucks.

I'm trying to avoid dropping the tranny if at all possible. Never done that before. I drove it later yesterday and it didn't really give me any problems, but I could tell it was still iffy. Could there be air in the slave that I missed that gravity bleeding would help?

Just check the slave man. Don't waste time beating around the bush.

Take the rubber cover off your trans. If its wet in there, 99% chance it went. I had mine go 1000kms ago. I didn't have the tools but I paid a shop to replace it. I didn't replace my master cylinder or line as there was no leaking there.
