A front diff is SUPER expensive to buy or rebuild so you're gonna just have to back out of the RCD deal.

Honestly though it would probably be cheaper to buy a used diff assuming yours really is blown up. You can find used ones on Ebay, here, other ranger boards, and the Explorer boards. Usually run a couple hundred bucks.

Take a good look at your diff first though because the rangers have a reputation for a leaky pinion seal on the front. I've seen a few instances of the actual RTV sealant on the diff cover let go. I would look into those two things before you decide to have it replaced or rebuilt. The pinion seal and the diff cover seal are both cheap and easy fixes.

I have one with 3.73's. It needs to be cleaned out and needs new fluid. When I took it out it didn't leak or have any problems. Did I mention it is for sale uber cheap.

I have an 04 front diff with 4.88s, check the classifieds I post a while back. Then you could slap 4.88s in the rear and run 35s with your double lift.

I got one that zach mentioned. it has 3.73 gears in it and it had pvh on it so it has less that 20 miles on it i am certsin because it was never in 4x4 before i got it and i only had it in 4x4 once before i put 4.10's in it. it is like brand new. you could eat off the gears. the original fluid came out as clean as the new fluid went in
