Transmission Filter?

So I went to autozone to get a tranny filter. That asked whether it had a deep pan or a shallow pan. I asked to look at the 2 filters and they looked pretty much the same.

Im pretty sure I have a deep pan, but how would I be able to tell?

its shallow, but nappa, is cheaper, comes with o-rings and filter, but let the pan drop rear 1st and it drops to the cross member, its cleaner, if u drop it forward, it gets on hte cats and exhaust, also hold the pan while u remove the last bolt, that splash into ur catch pan can be a big mess, and make sure u got the old o rings, and wipe down the bottom end, thats what i did like 2 weeks ago, have fun o yea if u got a battery powered impact, do that, with a rachet my wrist was killin me as it was put back together

Actually its a deep pan because I have 4x4. I have done it before and know what to do. I have just never done it on my truck.
