04 Edge AT - Question

Hi there

I'll try to be specific and don't waste anybody's time.

My truck started to act up not too long ago, is not terrible but I'd like to take care of it before it becomes worse.

there are certain things that happens but not sure if they're related to each other.

When you first start the truck (cold start) you can hear a vibration noise, a metallic kind of sound, but not like mechanical, more like a metal sheet loose or something like that - something like the muffler heat shield was loose ( is not, just trying to give an example ) ,

I crawled under the truck and found that the oxygen sensor, at the front, closest to the engine was kinda loose - fixed that. Then, I detected a leak at the very front of the truck, checked that and there's a small radiator looking thing in front of the actual radiator, seems like an oil cooler or so, but it had a pinkish/redish liquid coming out of it. I fiex that to and checked the tranny fluid, was kinda low, so I added some mercon V plus Lucas tranny treatment.

Symptoms : When you're backing up and shift to drive without pushing the brake, it takes a little too long to get in gear and go forward.

I don't know what you guys think about it, I was reading here about gaskets, seals, and stuff - just don't want to get it major repairs just right now, I don't have that money to spend at the time, but at the same time I don't want to f**k up a truck that I'm still paying for .

Truck info - 04 Edge
3.0 V6 Auto Trans.
Approx 33K miles

Any help will be appreciated and if you need more information in order to figure it out let me know, since I'm knida lazy when it comes to write on my pc.

NOTE : When I said (@ the top) that I was going to be specific .... I was Kidding !!! :)

that little radiator is a transmission cooler for your automatic.. You're supposed to put on the brake when shifting from R to D, so I could only imagine that it takes a while to go forward, not to mention that is putting unnecessary stress on the already weak ford automatic tranny.
