i like the sounds of this gear splitting at one of my old jobs i used too cruse around in peterbuilts and i always wonders why cars/trucks dont have 10-15 gears seems too make sence that they should. what are your guys thoughs on the Gear Vendors under/overdrive transmissions the most awarded auxiliary transmissions. product i dont think i would buy one for my ranger unless it came too me at about 1/3ed the price but i am looking too buy a superduty in the next 6 months and i may just get one of these even further down the road. what do you guys think pros and cons?

That gear vendors won't make the sound of the Peterbilt you once drove, Trucks use air, I'm sure the GV's doesn't. In my opinion all new pickups have more then enough power and don't really need to split the gears, however say a 97' F-350 or earlier would benefit greatly due to the gear ratios and lower power.
