Found a rear axle... is this a decent plan?

I found a rear axle for 100$
parting out 1995 ranger 4x4

I also found a shop who said they would do the swap for $250.

I am waiting to hear back on how many miles are on the axle and how long it has been sitting. I don't have my tools to remove the axle (just moved 900 miles... long story) so I will be trying to negotiate for it to be removed.

Does this seem reasonable?

With a posi rear. Not bad. I like it,

Honestly, If I were you I'd go out and buy a basic socket set to swap rears yourself. It save yourself almost all that money. And you could do it in a hour or two wheereas a garage would prob keep it a few days for something so simple. Just a direct bolt in.
