very annoying rattling clutch
When i depress my clutch the rattling stops...anybody knows what this is?
does my clutch need to be adjusted or is it the throwout bearing and slave? Also the sweet spot/ shift point on the clutch has moved up significantly if that makes any difference I do not know help please! |
Broken spring on the clutch disk or loose finger on the pressure plate.
Clutch job time is now , not later. |
Wirelessly posted
Yes replace clutch. I did a stang at work 4L did the same thing. New clutch and labor came to 8xx. You could do this yourself its not hard at all and you don't need a lift I didn't get a lift that day. |
Thats what I was afraid of :disappoin thanks for the info guys its much appreciated

If it goes away when you press the clutch in, or in gear at idle (slow roll or on stands) it's the throwout bearing.
