I have a 2010 4.0L Ranger FX4, four wheel ABS. Been trying to get the correct front Wheel Bearing/Hub, it seems that this model has 2 different types. Some auto parts shops have a listing for either a Hub assembly for
4x4's with vacumn pulse to lock the front hubs or without that option. The connector for the ABS on the non-pulse hub is square (mine) or round which seems to be more common and of course a lot cheaper. Does anyone know if you can just cut and connect the connector from the old hub to the new hub assembly so the ABS connector will match?

 

Can't cut! It's a shielded wire, so it won't recognize it.
What I did when I changed mine, i changed the wire from the OEM hub, tio the new one, they are set in place with a single allen screw

 

F#$k Too late, I cut the end of the wire of the old one last night to show the auto parts store what I needed. Figured they would have one with the right connector. Should of tried thinking outside the box. Now I have to go to Ford and pay out the nose for one. Might see if I can get a wire from a scrap yard.
