Wont move

I just finished up installing my new manual transfercase. when I got in my truck to move it out of my garage, my truck will not move at all. What could I have possibly done or what could be wrong? my truck is also an automatic. It goes into gear fine, but when I go to put it back in park, it starts grinding. What could I have possibly messed up. please any help would be greatly appreciated. Ive got to get this thing out of my garage.

sounds like your transfercase is in neutral.

thats definally not it. I tried with the transfercase shifter in all different positions. When I go to put it in drive or reverse it goes right into gear but whenever i try putting it into park it starts grinding.

Sounds like the transfercase isn't engaging 100%. My old truck used to do that when I tried to get it in 4low. When you started letting out clutch GRINDDDDDD.

does anyone else have any suggestions? I also forgot to mention that every once and a while the speedo will jump up to like 20mph when its jst idling. Does anyone have any suggestions? They would be greatly appreciated. Like I said I have no gears at all. Before I did the swap my tranny was good, so Im thinking it has to be the transfercase.

What was it in before your truck? If that's the only thing you changed that's got to be it...

You may have to just put the old t-case back in and get that one rebuilt, could be as simple as the chain drive broken

What would cause my speedo to be acting the way it is?
