Would this Axle work on my truck?

For reference, my truck is a '99 2WD 4.0 OHV with an open diff.

Yes it would but it would not be a direct bolt up.

Spline number doesn't matter if you are using the whole axle and it comes with everything.

YES...........and that axle is a swap-in, but it will lower your truck approx. 4" in the rear, and $150 is CHEAP for a 8.8 posi!
