I've seen ads for some of there other wrecks they had in the past couple years and they always seemed way overpriced.

Don't know what everyone's excited about. That looks way overpriced for a truck marked salvage with that kind of miles.

thats a great deal. it probably only needs 4 grand worth of work put into it for it to look like new. So for 8 grand you get a 06 fx4 offroad. 90,000 miles is nothing. If that truck wasn't wrecked and it was for sale It would gor for $14,000 easily around here. maybe a little more. Just my opinion.

Maybe I should start shipping vehicles to Ohio then, lol. Around here I'd say it's maybe a $10,000 truck if it was never wrecked. I sold my brother's 06 F-150 crew cab Lariat a few months ago for $14,000 fully loaded with 90k miles. This truck shown, after repair will still be marked with a salvage title which will drastically reduce resale value. To me, it just doesn't look like it will add up to be worth taking a $3900 truck, putting $4,000 into it in repairs for a truck that isn't going to go for much more then what you've got in it. I guess maybe I'm just looking at it from a profit viewpoint. If you're building it for yourself, and can do the work yourself, I guess I could see a little more interest.

Oh, and for the price reference there was an 06 FX4 Level 2 for sale here a couple months ago that I was outbid on and it sold for $8500 (and no it wasn't a dealer auction, just a craigslist posting that ended up selling in auction format). Don't remember exact mileage but it was in the same range as this one, high 80s, low 90s.
