8.8 Cobra disc brake brackets. Tx

http://houston.craigslist.org/pts/2333523311.html

1987-1993 Mustang Cobra 8.8 disc brake conversion brackets -$75 (Tomball)

Up for sale is rear disc brake 8.8 brackets for a 11.65" cobra rotor. These are designed for fox length axles in an 8.8 rear end. They are notched so you do not have to remove the axles for installation. I purchased these for $100 and then had them powdercoated. I am losing money on the deal, but helping out a fellow ford lover. Feel free to e-mail, call or text. Thanks, Kevin (281) 475-0088
If anyone is interested, ill be willing to pick them up for you and ship them

How could these fit on a ranger?

bigandrw 05-26-2011 04:41 AM

They're for an 8.8 to slap on cobra rotors

Taylor 05-26-2011 09:50 AM

So, would the 11.65" fit under a 16 inch stock rim?

These sound interesting.

bigandrw 05-26-2011 10:34 AM

Yep.

bigandrw 05-26-2011 10:39 AM

Because if you do the 04 & up cobra swap the vented cobra discs are about 12 or so. And they cut it close on stock 15" rims.

Sent you a pm Andrew

Haha Grant.

You are very proud of that thread.

That's like the 100th time you have thrown that link around.

Dangerranger01 05-27-2011 07:39 AM

haha well it has avoided a mass of redundant, and repeat questions from people. Just link it, they read it (all of it hopefully), and don't need to make more posts with the same questions over and over.

Like I have done before about rear brakes haahaha

Wirelessly posted

I had no idea termi brakes fit on a ranger with stock size wheels. I kinda wanna buy those cuz I'm too lazy to notch a new pair

Dangerranger01 05-27-2011 01:12 PM

Yeah, it depends which style wheels you have. I bolted a few 15s on that fit fine, but then some other brand 15s will interfere with the caliper. I think 16s and up are a definite fit.
