whats the point of having a locker on a 3.07?

maybe, but still, its the 28 spline, so would it be able to handle the torque from the diesel?

28 splines can handle a 4500lb car launching on drag radials with 450 horse.

ok! I take what I said back... I wasnt sure. All I know is that they are weaker, and something with more beef behind it is preferred with big tires lol

theres nothing wrong with 3.07 gears, if my first gen gets a 302 it will get 3.08 or 3.23

If it was a high speed highway runner, why would a locker be needed? or wanted?

OMG! wuts rong wit me? I forgot all about those! Having this locker and splitting cases and mainshafts in half made me stop doing those!!!

Sounds like it came our of a mustang or a crown vic more then likely. The fox's and sn95's stock ran gears like that. My old 96 gt had a 3.08.

my Cougar has a Detroit locker. but that has 3.89s.

and 27 inch tires. so it sucks ***** on the freeway lol.
