98+ Lift Parts on a junked 99 at Pull-A-Part, Akron OH
So I was going up to Pull-A-Part in Akron to grab a blower motor resistor wiring harness since I fried mine and I was searching around the Rangers. I was walking down a row and noticed a 99 standard cab 4x4 that literally stood above the rest. Naturally I scoped it out.
Here's the scoop: 2 inch rear factory lift blocks 2 inch rear lift blocks on top of the factorys LARGE U-bolts front suspension lift (spindles maybe, didn't check) 3 inch body lift all around, all the parts With a little time and effort one could rip the whole lift set off this ranger. Or at least the BL. The factory lift blocks looked strong so that is also an easy pull. If you are in the area and want to check it out just search for Rangers at the Pull-A-Part and go to the only 1999. It is red, big, and says "Redneck" across the windshield. |
You need to go back and snap pics and post 'em up!
front, back, sides, corner views, front suspension especially. |
I'm looking for a suspension lift so if you can find out if it's a 4x4 with a Superlift that'd be AWESOMES!!!
I'd drive over to go get that sh*t! It doesn't show anything on their website. Pics at least.. GB :) |
He said 4x4 and said spindles? lol.....idk...whenever I find something that really sparks my interest, out comes the cell phone and i'm really checking the truck out snapping pics. We really really need pics here to see what this truck has. If it had a suspension lift, it'd be really obvious.

What do you mean broadcasted
|
open to public view, etc... BTW...the correct saying is you couldn't care less. Saying you could care less means you care.
ANYWAY....We still need pics of this truck and it's components. Generally, upull type places inventories only list year make and model...no options, no vin. |
I really don't mind, and yes pics please
|
Pics or no pics, it'll be yet another lift that someone snaps up before I can get there.. Hopefully it's a lowly 2 wheel drive.. lol
GB :) |
It is defiantly 4x4. 3 inch BL. Just 2 inch lift blocks in the back, some sort of suspension lift up front. I might head up again Wednesday. I'll snap some pics. I HIGHLY doubt the BL is going anywhere. The car is on blocks and to get a Bl out you need a torch, impact wrench, and jacks to push the body from the frame and you can't take any of that into Pull-A-Part
