Not sure if will actually fit a Ranger setup but it looks interesting and it is narrow.

Again not sure if it will fit but it’s from a Windstar.
it comes with a VCR but this doesn’t have to be used but it does have two power ports in the rear panel, if hooked up could power all kinds of electronic equipm’t.

I wonder how long the escape one is. It would be nice if you could use that in a manual. Maybe I will take a look at one next time I go to the junkyard.

I thought the same thing, how OLD, but you don’t need the VCR so maybe the price will come down a little.

The Console is a narrow one and it could fit and have a different look than the standard Ranger/Explorer type.

No doubt but a VCR, at least it would be hard to get the Tape to skip, not like a DVD or CD.
I am sure it would all work in a Ranger BUT not for me.

i hope the Console works for someone.

 

I have an escape. I believe that the console is taller than the one in an explorer. I'll measure it up when my wife gets home tonight and let you know.

 

I measured the one in my moms once.. Width wise its like perfect... and its long enough to leaver the factory vup holders in if you want..
