Would you be able to get a driveshaft as well? I don't know if I can use the stock one

wellcom2knoxvile 08-10-2010 08:31 PM

yes i could get a double cardon joint driveshaft. however it would make the shipping box much larger and more expensive to ship.. i dont see why you couldnt use your stock shaft? just get a conversion u-joint!

You're right, a shop could just change it for me

One more question. Was this case rebuilt or looked at? Just don't want it to crap out on me

wellcom2knoxvile 08-10-2010 10:06 PM

or you could just change the u-joint! its takes literally 10-15 mins to swap out a u joint.. just make sure you hit it with some PB BLASTER before you get into it.. the case has not been re-built.. but it looks and feels fine, shifting is smooth and turns over smoothly without any stange noises.

Alright, I just didn't know what was involved in changing ujoints. Never done it

I appreciate all the info, I'll let you know as soon as I get the money
