I'm looking for either the Torque Monsters or the Ford Racing Headers for the P head 5.0. Doesn't have to have the EGR bung on the passenger header. Not a big deal if it does though.

Good luck finding either used, They are a rare find! I have been looking for a while and from past finds on Ebay the Ford Racing sets have gone for around $450-500 used and the Torque monsters for $500-650. The Ford Racing are more restrictive than the Torque Monsters also.

 

Lol Thanks Kris, I forgot. And I know there rare, but somone just might be looking to get rid of them. lol

 

Just talked to Bob @ Torque Monster and he is behind 3 weeks on my headers and he has 7 more sets behind me so if your still needing them it could be August or September before they would be available. Just a heads up if you need to order them!

 

Geez, he's getting pushed back more and more everytime you update me. lol Shoot me a pm if you wanna get rid of your stock manifolds once you get your headers. Looks like i'll need em to start out. I knew I shouldnt have thrown mine away! Lol

 

No problem...I did EGR delete and I already have the hole capped off, but it can be removed if your gonna go back with the EGR. I've been waiting 6 weeks and still gotta wait another 3 weeks......But i'm sure its gonna be worth the wait!

 

I bet, well it looks like Bob is gunna hook me up with his manifolds. Yours may have not worked though after i though about it. Do you have the P heads? I'm just gunna get this thing rollin with manifolds, then do the solid axles, then i'll worry about the headers maybe this time next year. But I appreciate the heads up. I would have saved up the cash for nothing. lol

Damn you Mark! I searched hard for about a week and since then I just check around every now n then and find nothing... :( It sucks.

What if the engine is a 5.0L and the heads are Trick Flow… what headers do you use ?

As far as I know the heads are modeled after the 93 5.0L Mustang version.

 

Yea, we're talking about a 5.0 with P Heads. And i'm looking to get any type of aftermarket header.

There are only 2 that work,
-Trick Flow Headers
-FRPP Headers

I was just seeing if anyone had some used ones so I could save a buck.

 

Too much money for new… I know.
I will look up the FRPP Header but wonder if they will fit the Ranger.

 

Well FRPP made a conversion header and that is the one I am referring to. It is discontinued now though. I can't think of the part # right off the top of my head but I have it wrote down somewhere.

You better jump on the Ebay headers Jracer..Talked to Bob again today and he is thinking it will be another 2 weeks or so..thats put me 11 weeks waiting....
