You'll need a 90+ tcase and linkage and a front shaft from a 95-97 explorer to replace your superlift shaft.
I'll know in a few days if I've got a line on one or not. Hitting the yard up and there was a couple there the other week.

Joey.....
Yeah. Swap the front outputs. Disassembly of these cases is a cake walk! I just took apart my blown up tcase and ripped hte front output out of it to put on my new-to-me manual old model 1354. So now I take back my comment of needing a new shaft. If you're good iwth attention to detail sorta stuff, swapping the front output is cake.

But isn't there an issue of length of the output on the trans? with the adaptor and that bucket CV thing, isn't it longer than if it's just the proper output on the case? I could measure mine but my adaptor isn't exactly the same adaptor on the SL shafts. That'd result in an over stretched slip.
Joe...I'll shoot you a PM in a minute... I got everything you need.

i think it will be fine.
that superlift shaft has a ton of slip in it. more than an IFS needs.
actually i think i know it will work... now that i think of it a couple years ago (rangererv) had his superlift and blew up his tcase at the dunes. so in the camp grounds someone in our group had a 1354M so we swapped it out in the camp grounds. we used his superlift shaft and pulled the adapter off and used the shaft. it was super close though. Not much travel left.
So we are both partially right. it is barely long enough and probably not something you want to run all the time but it will work.

Gotcha. I know the shaft don't move, but I agree, it'll be close. I didn't know for sure, but I could see it working...but extending the shaft about 1.5"....that kinda worries me. I'll mess with this tomorrow when I take apart my '92 case.
But seriously....taking these cases apart are cake. I should make a video. LOL!

An adaptor for an adaptor to adapt? too much adaptor goin on there... I took comparison measurements, but don't remember them. The SL shaft without the adaptor would be about 1.5" too short...but idk how much slip there is in the shaft. That measurement is by memory from like 2 days ago.
Sorry Joe, I keep forgetting to msg you...
