'06-'07 Side Mirrors

Do you guys know if side mirrors from an '06-'07 Ranger would work on my truck? I know they would fit, but what about power? Would it be a direct replacement for my current power mirrors, or would there be wiring involved?

They'll fit fine, i just dunno about the wiring.. I think that door wiring hasnt changed since like 03 or so, ive got '04 power mirrors hooked up to '03 pw/pl/pm wiring and they work great.

I know they will fit, but I want to know if they will simply "plug and play" with my 2000...

Well, you be the guinea pig on this one :) those mirrors are probably f-ing expensive as hell though, as the 98-05 OEM power mirrors run about $200+ EACH, and these being the new style are probably even more..

You might try just going up to a dealer that actually has a pair to look at, and see if those mirrors use the same kinda plug as yours, that might help ya.

True, I could, but I don't want to pay dealer prices, and I don't know where else I could buy any, I tried ebay... nothing... This might have to wait a year, Till more become avalible...

um you may not have the money for a LONG time. I checked the dealer for some items today, and the mirrors on my truck, which are power, are $176.80 EACH thats almost $360 for a set of crappy made in chine power mirrors... can we say; rip off?

I coulndt seem to find 06 mirrors online but the 05's are 130 an assembly.

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...05&catalogid=2

EDIT: I see the 06's are different and do look much nicer. In time you will be able to find these mirrors if you want them.

I saw just a passenger one on ebay once for like $42 or so... just keep looking on there... you may have to buy just one at the time... but if you buy one and then realize it wont work, you will save yourself some money in not buying the other one...
