I think I'm mainly concerned with the edge as I'll line it up vertically to cover the holes, however you can shift it left of the bed and still have wiggle room.

Just know the 9" emblems tend to fade and flake...I'm not sure what they did different when they made these, but they arent the same quality of the smaller ones...

Does the tailgate "Ranger" emblem have alignment pins on the '08? Just wondering because I was planning on removing it, but didn't want to if it'll leave a hole in the tailgate.
