Since I was already modding a new set of 06+ corners with a tip from another member so the trim ring isn't clear/white anymore, I decided to transfer that idea onto the 06+ tails.

I've already made two sets (one sold locally, another is in the hands of Taylor) of the first version for which I made a How-to on.
These will have a mix of harley davidson F150/Raptor theme to them. They'll be the same as the first version BUT with the outermost ring on the lens itself (not the housing) being black as well.

The new set will be like these with the outermost edges of the lens being black


I have 1 coat on each lens so far and it looks like it'll turn out awesome.

I'm going to try and get these painted and sealed up today before I head into Boston for New Years. If i do, I'll post some pictures.

haha yesss. I used the trick you gave me for the ridges on the corner lamps and transferred it to the tails

mines would look awesome with the outer edge painted black. or at least tinted darker.

ive got a thin layer of nightshades on mine, enough to make it a darker red. but unless you saw it beside a stock ranger you wouldnt know its been modded. i think the black edge would look killer. will do this when the weather warms up.
