MY TRUCK is 4 wheel drive but what are these on the front..

are they the vacume locks??

Those are "live axle" always locked, waiting for the txfr case to engage them.

nah aint that stupid. just did and engine swap lol. but im used to seein the vacume ones. so it confused me.

that is the stub of the CV joint that is splined directly into the wheel hub.
