1995 Ranger Trailer hitch on a 2001
 

Hey all,

I was off today so I trolled the junkyards looking for gold. I found a 95 ranger XL model (2wd) with a nice class III hitch on it. I can get a good price on it. Will it fit my 2001 Ranger 4x4? I looked at it good, looks like everything matches, except slightly different side brackets for the bumper. Otherwise it looks like it will fit fine.

Anyone know for sure?

i would bet all the way back to 93 would fit... maybe even back to 83 but not sure on that one

What kind of a good deal did you get?

40 bucks if I remove it.

I got one for a 93-97 and i had to weld some extra metal on the edges and widen the holes and i also had to cut off the 3rd set of holes that face the front of the truck but all in all it fit i think it depends on brand!

It measures out fine, I checked the part # with Draw Tite also. Its the right one for Rangers!

Ok, Mission Accomplished! Got it on, wasn't too hard either. Did it myself in less than an hour. Looks good on there.
