1998 Ford Ranger Bumper Options - Lets see pics

I am curious to find out what bumpers bolt up directly to the 1998 models without much modifying. I don't mind buying new brackets but changing out the front just for a bumper isn't something I want to do.

Show me the pictures.

ALL 98+ bumpers will bolt to any 98+ truck. As long as it's Ranger, it'll fit w/o any real modification...simple bolt on.

If you want to do 01-05 bumper, you'll need inner and outer bumper brackets. 06+ is a metal frame w/ built in brackets with a bumper cover over it which is actually what you would see.

Toreadors is 4x4 and mine is 4x2, so the bumper might be a bit different since I don't have flares.

it would still bolt up

The flares might actually make it look cleaner without then it could look weird

As I said earlier, ALL 98+ are swappable. Regardless of drivetrain.

Truck posted in a 98-00 w/ a 01-05 4x4/EDGE upper and 04-05 XLT 4x4 valence. If you want round fogs, pictured below is my truck...2001 with bedlined bumper and valence...same as 01-05 4x4 Upper and 01-03 Edge/Xlt 4x4 valence...

I have a switch on the inside that controls the fogs cuz my truck didnt come with em. If intrested, Ill send pics on how to wire the fogs up.

Well I've considered doing mainly because of Certifit carries a lot of pieces. Anyone have experience with them and bumpers?

Offroadnredneck-

You're lucky Certifit is so close I've been wanting to get down there and buy some parts but just hate to drive for 60 bucks of parts!

the 4x4 bumper fits just fine without flares, it may stick out a little, but ALL 4x4 flaresides do that
