Vinyl tonneau in winter?

What do you do with your's? Should I just leave it, roll it up, reinforce it, cover it, or what? I don't want snow-load to ruin it....

I'm just worried about overnight storms that drop heavy snow. I'm not going to get up in the middle of the night to brush off my truck.

Just leave it on normally but before the winter, clean it up nice with Meguiar's #40 to protect the surface. Mine holds perfectly fine during storms with a lot of snow. The meguiars helps when you brush the snow off as well. FWIW I have an Extang Full-tilt

Mobile app sucks and posted the pic 3x lol

If your worried, reinforce it. If not, then it should be fine.

If you are worried about it, then you will take the time to brush the snow of it.

If your not worried about it, then you won't take the time to brush the snow off of it.

I don't really want to roll it up, since I have stuff in the bed I'd like to stay there.

I guess I'll see what happens. I'll do my best to keep it clean, and if it does collapse, I'll add a new cover to the list of things to buy with my tax returns. Maybe I'll get crafty and make something to relieve the weight.

It does have cross bracing. I'm just wondering what, if anything, others do to protect the cover in heavy snow. This is my first time dealing with a tonneau cover in winter.

I've always had soft tonneau covers on all my trucks... never had a problem at all leaving them closed during the winter here.

I had a vinyl cover on my previous truck and it was a bit difficult to un-snap and re-snap during cold weather. Now, that I'm planning to visit my parents this year, I need to have a more durable and easy to operate tonneau cover for winter use. I saw different options like on this page - Tonneau Covers but can't still decide what to choose. I kind a like the trifold cover. Does anyone here have this kind of tonneau and what brand? As much as possible, I want something that is not too expensive. Thanks in advanced.

Tonneau

You definitely can, but it may need to be readjusted occasionally due to the changing weather. Also, make sure to wipe the snow off occasionally. While strong, too much weight could cause it to tear. If you want more info, check out this guide:
