Icon5 2006 side mirrors

I had read that they will fit on my 2001 by just drilling out the 3 mounting holes bigger? Is this true or is there other modifications needed? My factory one are power as well. Thanks

Dont do it that way. I am looking for the how-to that shane did, but you can mod the mirrors to fit instead.

Thanks, I like that way much better. Is there a right up on how to wire them since the plug is different? In addition to that, anyone know where I can get a new plug thats on my wiring?

I wasn't able to find a plug. So what I did was cut the plug off the mirror and cut the wires in the door and used some male/female plugs and just change them out till you get the right ones. The wires are different colors also.

Whiskey!! Nice truck man! I modded my 08 mirrors to fit my 01. Just chop the nubs flush on the mirrors, and there is also the center bracket for the wiring where it comes out of the mirror. You can chop that center bracket half way or flush, it doesnt really matter. But thats pretty much all you have to mod on the mirrors. The plugs will be different so when you wire it just use the process of elimantion, its very simple!
