id stick with the 33s untill you can regear ... my 4.0 sometimes had a hard time getting out of things when wheeling with 4.10s ..... oncei put the s/c on it was easier to get out of things but then the trans took a **** ..... then i regeared and thigns were awesome ...

if you wanna run 35s id say do it when u cna regear and trimming is a maybe you dont flex out completly all that much in FL u mostly mud so 35s are still an option but 33s will be your best bet with the 3.0 and stock gears

Yeah right now I have 33x11x16s. She does pretty good with them for the most part. I think thats why I want to stick with the 33s. Im not afraid to go to 35s. I could do it. BUT there are so many reasons I shouldnt.

1. Like I said shes a daily.
2. Gas would suck EVEN MORE!
3. My truck is slow enough as it is.
4. 33s are cheaper!

hmm should I keep going?! haha

Yeah my B/L its a long story where I am getting it from but I got it for a good price. Its going on it a few weeks after I gather up everything else (shocks, rims, tires). Its all going on at once. As to who is putting it on...sooo many choices! hahaha Yeah I have had a few people offer to do it but Im gonna do it the right way and take it to this guy who used to work in a shop for a living. He just did his Jeep and his Chevy 1500. He used to have an F150 that he lifted before the 1500. Im pretty sure I can trust him.

I was talking to this guy about the body lift a lil this weekend and he said we are going to have to just pull the outside of the carpet up and blah blah blah. Im thinking about putting in rubber flooring while I have the carpet pulled up, anyone have any serious objections to that??

Im a little bit late on this. o well heck with it. IMHO, I wouldnt disagree to doing that. sounds good to me, but thats me agaian. As for shocks, pending on how much and hard you wheel it, I like to go with the pro comp es series shock. They are not too expensive and work pretty good. As for the tires, i would go with a all terrian look. maybe procom also...... thats what i am running atleast. and i like it. tires are the best and have a 50,000 tread wear warranty. but i know ya want and aggressive look too. but its up to you. just gave my opinion thats all. yes there maybe alot of objecttions to mine. o well. good luck

Tire i have always liked but never had:

WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM 4 WHEEL PARTS!! they may have a few cheaper prices but Summit Racing will match them!! and Summit has a hell of a lot better service and faster shipping!!!!!!!!!!!

the only part of the carpet you will have to pull up in the corners... you will not have to pull the whole carpet out.....at each corner there is 1 bolt.......pull the front kick plates off and move the carpet back, the hole is covered with a rubber stopper pull it off and it is below it....on the rear, the rear hump that runs along the back of the cab the bolts are on the edge of it...again they are covered by a rubber stop pull it back and they are in there......the cab bolts are the easiest to get to well besides the bed bolts.....the front 2 are the hardest.......REMEMBER A LOT OF PB BLASTER IS THE KEY TO DOING A BODY LIFT!!

not anymore. the key is the torch with the brazing tip. heat that bolt up and zip it out with the impact. cuts install time in 1/2

TRUE!! but If you go this route, using the torch, remeber unless you are replacing your body bushings to not melt them.........or you will be without your ride longer........

also plan on it taking a full day to do....it took me 9 hours to do, including a 45 minute lunch. that was with not a 1 stuck bolt.......including mounting tires on the truck....the hardest part was the rear bumper and the front bumper....i had to notch the front frame horns because of the fog lights.....but with yours you shouldn't have to do any notching....the rear bumper you will have to drill new holes in the side of the frame, unless you leave the bumper hanging...

you just need to know when to pull the torch away and use the impact.

little bit of smoke never hurt anyone.

nah Im not leaving my bumper hanging lol. shes going up too.

I know I only have to pull back some of the carpet but, IDK why a lil is out might as well go all the way. right?! lol

I have a friend who works at 4wheelparts who said he might be able to hook me up but if his discount isnt alot then im not buying from there. I looked at tires.com for the tires I want and they are $181 there and $227 at 4WP. Im like wtf. RIP OFF! If Summits cheaper then I will definitely go that way. Thanks for that lil info Maurice.

they are $182 at Summit.....the thing to watch with 4 wheel parts is that their shipping on tires and wheels is OUTRAGOUS!! Summit charges $10 per wheel and tire combo to ship while 4 wheel parts charges almost $160 to ship....hummmm $40 or $160........Also 4 wheel parts ships out of wharehouse across the country were as Summit will take an order at their Ohio shop and most likely ship it out of there to......and for you they probably will ship it out of their Atlanta shop so you will have it in about 2 days.....
