Has anybody whose done this ever baked their old tails and taken the housing and putting it on the 06 tails, or any 2 bubl tails? im thinking that would be safer to do than to cut a hole into the new housing. Opinions?

 

I think cutting would be a lot easier,

 

i converted mine from 3 bulb to 2 bulb...i have a 98 with 07 tails

 

I converted them before both baking and cutting. Cutting is by far easier and less hassle, all you gotta do is just make sure once you make the cut its exactly what you want.
