This really turned out great! Not only does it add considerable protection to the truck, it looks really good (the pics dont do it justice...). Another thing i noticed was the truck is a lot quieter on the road now too.

I highly recommend this mod, its surprising more people dont do it!

Oh yeah, cost was $500 for the job. They also put on the kevlar weatherproofing stuff that keeps it from fading.

I know, i was an idiot and left the tailgate at home cause the shop told me to take the tailgate and rear bumper off before bringing it in... i didnt even think about it till i got it home. Tailgate is getting done sometime next week.

Another thing was the front wheel wells werent completely coated, so im gonna have em spray in there again too. (you can see it in the first pic)

Not gonna do the front bumper. 2 reasons: 1 the line-x guy said that plastic is a gamble. Sometimes it stays on forever, sometimes it peels off in a year or so. They wont guaranteed applications on plastic. he said cause when they spray, its 120* and the plastic expands, then retracts when it cools... whatever.

2, im planning on making a new front bumper/skid plate in the next few weeks, so the plastic bumper/valance is coming off anyway.

Rear bumpers coming off at some point too. Just didnt want to spend the money on doing it since its only temporary.

Wow man. I like that alot. I would have never thought about that. I wonder if it would work as well if your truck wasnt white. I think it really adds to it.

Turned out very nice. I myself never was too into the Linux spray on, but it definitely enhances the truck.

Looks super nice. Just not a big fan of the bumper sticker. I've never really figured out how his "hope and change" that he's always preaching about works.

$500 sounds like a good deal. i went in and asked how much it would be a few years ago to do the same thing and they wanted over $1000 so needless to say i thought the paint looked fine lol.
