If you scroll down on this page you can see the kit..its the 46129 kit..It only comes w/ 3/8" tubing thats the only thing that I notice is a little cheap but other than that to my knowledge..which aint much on horns..it looks alright haha

Looks pretty good to me, thats the kind of system I'll be putting in. Thats way down on my list right now though. IMO I think you could piece that exact kit together for much less if you shop around.

I would go 5 gal compressor so you can fill tires up and stuff, the price isn't that much different. Tre knows all that stuff, he'll chime in here in a little bit. You need the valve or button how ever you want to trigger the horn to go off too.

My prob. w/ gettin a big tank is space..I mean if I go w/ a toolbox then I guess whatever size will be fine..it just makes things complicated when I wanna carry my dirtbike around 24/7 lol

Very true, since theres no need for you to have the spare tire I'd look at a way to mount the tank there.

Ive got a video.... let me find it.

I would mount it all in the bed. you dont want it under the truck because the valves can stick which is not cool.

Honestly best bet... $20 HF air tank 5 gal... I got my Quick Release Valve from a Semi truck parts store for $20... My compressor that's actually really nice for $60 at AutoZone and fittings and air line for probably about $50 or so...

The horns were $50 for the Grover 1601 dual trumpets and $45 from the freightliner Surplus yard for the 30in single horn. I got ripped on it though, it should have only cost me $15 for it but I didn't know the guy who could hook me up at the time.

All in all I have about $250 in my setup and I can more than just blow my horns, I can hook up an external line with quick disconnects and fill up tires or use air to blow off motor parts or what not...

I'm gonna be switching over to the hard compression line though probably in the next week if not this weekend.

I figured Evan would have chimed in but like he told me, you will want louder and bigger after you do it, I just saved the money and bought what I really wanted instead of just buying something.

Those will be loud, but you won't have very much air, and your rebound time will be slow. But, yes they will work just fine.

BTW I'm running a Viair 480, a 5 gal. tank, and ebay knock off horns, and I'm plenty happy with it. I have enough air to fill a tire a few times, and my tank refill times are fairly fast.

If you can, try to get your stuff from Kleinn Air Horns, they have GREAT customer service, and good prices. Check them out on ebay, I think the seller's name is "mypushcart". I have the dual horns set up, they're kind of a mix between train horns and semi horns, I love the sound though.

Well, that picture was taken before I cleaned all the wiring up, I just wanted it done that day. But, it really wasn't hard. I didn't have a kit, so I just found wiring diagrams, studied the subject, and asked Evan a lot of questions. Once I actually started installing everything it was easy, just running and hooking up wires.

But, most kits come with instructions so that makes it easier. I still have all the diagrams saved so if you need them let me know.

If I was buying a kit, this is the one I would buy. I was going to buy it when I did mine, but decided against it.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Kong-...spagenameZWDVW

It's really straight forward matt... I'm gonna be upgrading to these

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Train...spagenameZWD1V

I heard them on a Semi this week when I went with shane to Beall truck parts. It's true. Once you crack into the air horn stuff, you only want more and more. I thought at one point mine were fine. When I started with just my dual trumpet, then I ended up buying the 30in one and adding it. Now I want more air and more sound! So I'm upgrading my whole system to 1/2in hard line and probably gonna run a 1/2in air solenoid all the way to the horns. And I'll be putting the solenoid right on the horns so that it has full pressure at the solenoid and doesn't have to travel far to be REAL loud.

Its all up to you though man, and what you have for money, and what you want it to sound like... Like I said though, my setup is not just for horns, I have 2 t-fittings on the tank outlet that go to 2 quick disconnects, one goes to the QRV for the horns that's on a pull cord through the floor of the truck and the other is not in use except for when I hook up my 25ft air hose to fill up a tire or something like that.

It really is a crazy addiction, for a long time, I had my eye on a $1000 horn. I want the real deal though.

I completely agree... For a lil while I had my eyes on some Nathan P5's... But slowly talked myself outta it when I realized I couldn't buy those for a long time, they're just a tease lol
