92 ranger box issue

92 ranger box issue

my box is rotting out and i found a really mint box from an extended cab...anyone know if the box from am extended cab shortbox could fit on a regular cab truck.

as long as its not a "long" bed ur fine as in ur bed is a long bed... the beds r the SAME size short bed wise

Yeah both are short boxes. So the wheel openings and mounting locations should be the same on both?

not to thread jack but i have a question similar to this. I have a 92 with the bed rotted and was wondering the best place to find one? I have not looked at my local junk yards but last time i was there i didnt see much of anything like that.

Just answering a Thrd-Jak… If local JYs don’t have any then consider Ranger Forums on the Web.
Most of these guys want to sell but know the right price for these things.

If you were in the New England area there is a red EDGE bed for sale at a local JY.

^^^ that bed is the WRONG gen... body lines WONT match up and that bed is WIDER then the 1/2 gen haha i have a 3rd gen steppie on mine and its was almost 3 inches to wide on each side
