96 to 02 front end swap

I tried doing a search on this but had no luck. I am wanting to swap a newer style front end on to my 96. I have a chance of getting a 02 front clip and was hoping I could get input on this. Is it possible and if it is, are there many mods or is it pretty much a straight forward bolt on? Thanks everyone.

You have to swap out the header panel, grille, bumper and valance. I think I remember hearing something about the header panel have to be custom mounted or something. I don't remember everything. A member maybe brice03edge did the swap, you can try searching for his name and PM him.

this has been covered before..

header panel, headlights, turn lights, fenders, hood, bumper/valance, custom bumper brackets(different frame horns), Radiator support(has to be welded in), odd and end clips and fasteners, and prob some wiring on the lights...

prob a few things i am forgetting but thats the major

the worst part if the whole thing is the radiator support has to be drilled out as in the spot welds and a 98+ has to be fitted and welded in...

is the support as seen here where the stickers are on the bottom of the pic.. nevermind it being Bobs truck with a 5.0L in it
