Projector Foglights! 2001-2005 Ranger's

I don't know how long its been..not very...but these brand new projector foglights have popped up everywhere on ebay. Most are around $115 to $130. Long story short...they look sick and I just ordered mine. Should be here in a few days....

Those look pretty neat!

although that ebay ad needs to say '01-03 as the '04+ models got the squarish fog lights..

I'd need to see a picture with them on the truck and with the lights on. But as of right now I think they look cool.

I sent the seller a message that they list the wrong years and to see if they have the 04+ ones.

they are pretty freaking sweet. I was wondering though...i bought the new silverstar h3 bulbs for them and they are rated at 55 watts...but i saw other brands of H3 rated at 100 watts. Would this be much brighter... could it even handle the double wattage?

Double the wattage would be brighter. But you have to watch out, I have seen many cars/trucks come in with melted wiring harnesses because they wanted the "pretty blue" bulbs instead of the stock yellow/white. I personally would't jump up too much on the wattage. I don't know what the stock harness is rated at.

well right now it has 12v 55 watt Silverstar's H3's

and the other brand I saw was 12v 100 watt H3's

I don't know if that would work, but i may try it...not today though

Does anyone have output pictures of these fog lights against a wall? I would like to understand how the cutoff looks.
