i just put an stx grill in my 07 last week. If your grill is similar to mine, there are four small screws to undo at the very top of the grill that you'll see when you pop the hood. There are two metal clips at the very bottom of the grill that pop into the rad support. Pry the bottom of those two up with a screwdriver as you pull the grill out and bob's your uncle, its that easy. i removed mine in like two minutes.

Kyle....it's a little different.

Depending on the year, there's a cover that goes between the header panel and core support. Remove the cover. Those screws are what hold the top of the grille in place. Should have a total of 11 or 9 screws that take a 7/32" socket. I like to pull my headlites and corner lights off too. You'll have 6 clips at the bottom that clip into the header panel. 04+ only have two directly below the grille. You're grille shell also extends below the headlamps. Be gentle, and forceful....at the same time. Some times you can reach behind the header panel and push down on the clip to help it slap out of the header panel. Just some pulling. If the "clip" comes off the housing, it's no big deal....ALL mine come off like that now. Just push them back on after you get the clip out the header panel. You'll have 2 clips below the grille, 2 under the left headlamp, and 2 under the right headlamp.

Sometimes it will just come right out. sometimes it'll be a PITA. Might try some WD40 at those clips to make it a little easier. While you got the grille off...might as well paint that honeycomb black.

I know...i'm pretty sure all that is a run on sentence. hope it made sence.

Im either going to buy some KCs or use a set of police lights i got from a cop buddy, also got a wic wacker(the deal that makes them blink on and off) the only prob is its illegal and i wouldn't ever be able to turn them on going down the road....so its kinda pointless to mount them. Would scare the crap out of my buddys that like to offroad on oilfield property though.

Ahh i see now. Definately a bit more complicated than mine was, thats why i stated the year, i wasn't sure if they were similarly mounted, that answers my question lol

oh no...bud...it's all good. blingbling. I never knew that "under headlight" piece was molded into your header panel until I pulled a grille off a 07.
