I got ventshades. They where on the truck when I bought it, but almost everyone sells them. They are the in channel ones too, there are other ones that use 3M tape, I like the low profile ones tho. It's nice because i think they cut down on wind noise when the window cracked since it's pushing it away, It's the coolest to use in the rain.

I usually crack my windows in parking lots by maybe 1cm (eyeballing it) max to let some heat out in the summer, and while im working.

personally i like my LUND the best that i have seen in person so far the injection molding looks the cleanest. it installs with 3M tap on the INSIDE of the channel. really easy to do. pull of the tap stick it up there with the window rolled down. then roll up the window. apply pressure to the gasket and seal the 3M tape and VOLA done....move on with life

I've got the AVS snap in kind. No tape, they just fit in the window chanel. They are allright I guess, the fit leaves a little to be desired around the top rear of the window. I wound up doing a little trimming on them and they are better than they were. The only really good thing about them is you can put them on and off whenever you want, it only takes a second.

Those Ventshades are what I have they were given to me but I think they came from the same place. I think the LUND would probably be good ones to, just as long as the are in-channel. No way I would get some that stick to the paint, don't think those look as good either.

I was told by a guy at schucks today that the in channle ones wear out over time and dont stay up, and that people keep coming back to replace them. makes sense, but i dont trust tape to hold it on on the highwayeither, last thing i want it to see it fly off completely...so im going to go in tomarrow and order the in channel ones

The outside ones come off too. And unlike the in-channel ones, they leave tape all over your paint.

I would think it is fairly easy to apply new tape when/if it ever does wear out.

Just the idea of it wearing out when you dont expect it to happen, either way if i for some reason need to take them off one day, id rather not have to deal with the tape on the paint.

Ya know I have almost ordered them about 3 times but for some reason i never did. I was going to get the ones that go in the channel no tape or drill.

"EGR In-Channel Window Visors: Thin tapered lip slides into your vehicle's window channel for a smooth, low-profile look with no drilling and no exterior tape. Available in smoked finish. "

Never understood the 4 piece sets......
sure it evens the "lines" out...but why pay extra for a non-functional piece of plastic. LOL

Definatly go with the in channels w/ 3M tape......awesome!!! Had mine for 3 years now, no damage and still stuck up there....LOL

ok i have tape on the inside of the channel its the same most people here i did 90mph on the freeway for about 3 hours with the windows down both didnt fall off so you might beleave they will but they dont. i only have had one that the tape failed a little on the back of it. i took it off and put new 3M tape on it cost was $0 because i had 2 rolls of it in my tool box. and simple reput it back up and she is fine. BTW is failed after 3 years and i tend to wash my truck ALOT like 3 times a week in the summer so maybe thats why. other then that i love um

I HATE my vent visors....It sounds like i have a freaking window cracked every time i drive down the road....Its SO annoying. They are noisey because air gets trapped in the pocket area where plastic ends by the top of the window...I am going to try and trim the corner, and if that dont work im ripping them out.

These are aero visors made by vent shades. Just bigger than the vent visors and I love em. They are attached with 3m tape.
