Any STX style grills for 01-03?

Hey I was wondering if anyone knew of a STX style grill for an 01-03. I like the horizontal bars, but don't want a billet grill. Thanks

I'm sure you can make one work....using a dremel and careful hands...i'm sure it can be done.

I know I could get a new hood and all the other garbage, but I want just the grill. Maybe I'll cut one up if I find a cheap one.

Carriage works make a billet grill that is powder coated black. Thats the closest I have seen in the aftermarket.

I wonder if the slates inside the grill surround snap off like the honeycomb one does. Anyone know?

^^^Thanks, I'm not sure how much hacking it would take to make it fit, that and I don't want to ruin my stock grill incase I ever want to go back to stock (God forbid), so I'd have to get another shell to graft it too. I'll see what happens in the future.

Thanks guys.

Hey....get yourself an extra honeycomb insert. Cut the honeycomb out, smooth/sand the remaining bits smooth. Then go from there on inserting the lightning/stx grille into that "ring" grille. JB weld, bondo, glass, etc.....whatever. I think it'd be a sweeet mod when complete.

I would definitely get an STX grill if I had an '04+, but I am not willing to sacrifice my hood for a grill I like mine better ant the '04+ hoods.

^^^^^Great post there, Scott. It shows the 01-03 powerdome hood w/ a 01-03 2wd XL/XLT grille....the slight difference in curvature doesn't look bad at all.

ps.....almost forgot your were brazilianized. lol.
