I did a search, found a thread that would have helped, but it didn't. The links didn't work, so I'm posting here, hoping some one will know. I'm looking to buy the paint so I can paint my grill this weekend. Here is a picture to help:



Edit: Now that I know the name of the paint color, where the hell can I find it. I went to Pep Boys and was unsuccessful.

 

Look on the door and find your EXT PNT Code. Its normally 2 digits

 

I looked, but how do I take that number and go to Pep Boys and find out what it is?

 

Open your driverside door, look at that sticker on the door jamb. It'll say something like "EXT PNT" or something similar. It'll be a two digit code. That's your paint code.

Then go here: PaintScratch Touch-Up Paint (rs), Spray Cans, Spray Paint, Paint Pens, Car Paint, Automotive Paint

Follow the prompts to find your year and make and model, then your exterior color code, then bam! You now have your color's proper name AND it's color code.

 

oh yeah...there's TONS of green shades offered in '95..... Can't just tell ya without having the paint code.

I just checked, and I looked and nothing came close to any of those numbers that corresponded with what info I just looked at on my door.

alot of my codes dont match either lol

like my trim is e2.. but e is medium graphite and 2 is dark denim blue...

 

I don't get it at all. I figured I would go to tirerack.com to see if that help, and of course it didn't. I checked to color box, and all it said was GREEN. I'm like NO ****ING ****!! What a waste of time lol.

go look on your door. itll be the 2 digit code on the far left underneath the barcode. my code is YZ, wich is oxford white

 

Got it, it looks nothing like the color of the car though.

 

well that might be due to the age of your current paint, paint fades over time ( haha I just stated the obvious what moranlol). and the paint you see on the internet is new.

Oh I know. But apparently its SH/M6715 Medium Willow Metallic Clear Coat. Hope thats it, or I'm going to be mad come time to paint my grille.

 

I hear that. my paint code is FL supposedly toreader red but I have heard it called different. as long as the paint code matches should be okay, are you painting the whole thing or just wanting to touch up?

 

I'm looking to paint the whole grill, its chipped and over all looks like crap.

 

oh yes willow is indeed green. willow is an interior color i think too

 

Yeah, I got lucky. I got the same color inside as I do out side.

 

I went to Pep Boys and found the paint, but it was only available in the 1/2 oz touch up paint thing w/ the brush. FML.
