Armor All on Exterior

Just wondering if putting some Armor All protectant wipes on the exterior parts such as the door handles and mirrors will matter? I thought way back I heard that it can make your black parts fade faster?

I've used them on my plastic flares before worked pretty good...

Try some stuff called Trim Shine.

Its the ****. It really works good on the fender flares.

I just use soap and water to clean everything. All of the trim shine stuff I've used on any car has just left me wondering after it's faded in a few years what it would have been like had I not put that junk on it...so I just started following the manual and not doing anything but washing...so far, so good!

Don't use armor all. I used it and it DRIPS when it rains. I didn't believe it would..but it actually runs down your paint. Easy to get off (just wash it), but not good if it bakes in the sun...

I use it on my flares, and I use to use it on mirrors and handles...but no mas...

And yea Trim shine works wonders.. and its made by Stoners so you know its good sh!+

Pretty much any product you use will drip on the paint when it rains.

Duplicolor Trim paint FTW. (It's a flat black).

Seriously, I just did a 93 and they came out like new (mirrors and door handles - I removed the mirrors, but just masked the handles) .

Looks so nice, I'm doing the front air dam under the bumper this weekend with what's left in the can.

So who has painted their trim pieces? I figure thats my next step, my handles, black fog grilles, etc all look like hell. Figure i may just paint the things, clear them, and all it a day.

of course your vehicle looks good.. it's less than a year old. we need someone who never details his/her truck. after about 5 years, then use that as a comparason.
