Squeaking from truck's midsection.

Squeaking from truck's midsection.
I recently acquired a squeak in my truck's lower midsection.
Its squeaking when I go over bumps and stuff.
I'm thinking its a body bolt, because I'm body lifted and its coming from the general area of a block.
I was thinking of taking it to the shop that installed the BL and getting the bolts re-tightened.
What do you guys think?

Yeah thats the problem, I don't have the tools to do the install and I don't know anyone in NC to help with it.

jeez man save yourself alot of trouble and tighten yourself lol. I kinda laughed at some of your post but I realize not everyone has access or tons of knowledge just like theres plenty of guys on here that know even more than me and everyone is learning just like me. More than likely its the rear can bolts n in order to tighten them your going to havta pull up your carpet or final floor in the back, take out the rubber hole covers n the bolts are right there. You will need to tighten them from the top and id use an impact, then do the final tightening by hand with a 1/2 drive 12 inch breaker bar/rachet with a 3 inch extension n socket. Thats what I do atleast n thtas the best way ive found doing it by hand with the room alotted. I just retightened mine acouple weeks ago and it def helped the only problem I have is my bushings on a few will spin so I havta have a friend there to help hold them while I tighten them down as much as I can. Anymore specifics you need just let me know.

I had the same exact problem after my body lift after putting some miles on it. I used a huge pair of pliers and clamped em on with a pair of vice grips... then used a 1/2" socket wrench with a breaker bar and tightened em myself. It fixed the squeak. It's easier if you have someone to hold that body bushing from spinning, but it's doable by yourself if you do it like i did. Good luck.

I mean you should just do all of the front 6 at the same time like me and others do after there body lift. Usually the back 2 are the ones that loosen up the most and cause noise, atleast mine. Its pretty much common knowledge around here that they will loosen up some so im sure thats where its coming from. Itd really helps to have another person to stop the bushing from spinning like how I talked aboiut or you can go the route like RLong and try n do it yourself. But like I said another person will not only help to hold the bushings if they spin but also to keep you company and someone to talk to lol. It really sucks crawling around in the interior and dealing with it all by yourself lol.
