^^^^X a million, i love my spray-in! just take that money you would use for the roll on, put it aside, for get about it, and then add to it every paycheck, and before you know i, walla, youve saved enough for that PROFESSIONAL bedliner

I've used a ton, but would prefer a pro job on the bed. None of the DIY I've used compares to Line X or Rhino, both of which I've had. Prefer LineX due to the national warranty, though I think Rhino offers the same now.

Durabak - did the Jeep tub. It's nice now, but it seriously took about a year to cure. It was soft for about 3 months, soft when it got warm for about a year. Would not use it again.

Duplicolor spray can - did the truck tool box interior with it. Useless for heavy impact areas, peeled off after about a week.

Herculiner - best of the DIY and lasted the longest. Used it on the TBarcia sliders, lasted from 2003 until my wife rolled the truck. Good DIY stuff.

A few guys I know used the Raptor kit and loved it. You can color match it if you tell the company your paint color/code. If I DIY anymore stuff it's gonna be that kit.

Yes, I did prep all the kits I've used.

I can't state whether raptor is better, but it sure is easier. The fact that it came with a hardener made me think (mentally) that it was better than anything that was applied straight out of a can.

I tend to believe the issues with peeling are either lack of prep or lack of thickness. if you look at the end result between spray can and rhino lining, the thickness involved is night and day. If there is some bubbling underneath where it didn't stick, the thickness of rhino will hold it together. The small layer of spray can will chip off.

Just speculation on my part.

i did hurculiner in my bed about 3 years ago. its starting to wear through to the paint again. it serves its purpose. mine is just ready for anopther layer. i would say i got my $5 bucks outta it. (got it at a yard sale)
