you can buy them at advance autoparts you gotta drill holes in the headlights on wess's ranger we got two kits so it would strobe blue and white like a cop car but we drilled out two holes to the left of the bulb (make sure you pull your bulb out when you do this just incase) and slid the blue strobe bulb in and then the white TADA!! the rest is explanatory now you do the same for the tails but depending on if you want both whit and blue or just white front and rear.. but you would most likely have to pull the tail lights out to drill the holes for the strobes and wire them right

im gonna warn you that you cant have strobes on the road.. or dont let a cop see you with them cuz theyl give you a hefty ticket... We found out the hard way...

hi, thanks - I would like to put them in my turn signals -
I do a lot of work off road - and I do believe this will not get me a ticket, for i will be off- road when i will be using them...

I know if i make my headlights flashers - I was going to make my flashers into strobes..

The strobe lights you buy at the auto part stores are basically cheap toys. Most cameras have brighter flash than those. If you are just going for off-road show looks, then they are probably adequate. But if you actually plan on using these for some kind of safety warning for your work, they are pretty worthless. Also, if you have the headlights and/or parking lights on, it will almost completely wash out any effect of the strobe lights.

hi, thanks - I may try a local auto store in my area, they sell a lot of Tow truck accessories.. just didn't want to spend hundred's..

here is what i am trying to accomplish.. when i drive off the road - instead of regular flashers.. make my flashers a bright flashing strobe.. - Not for driving on the road or to make people think i am police..

usually I see these all the time - on trucks - work trucks - etc..

they sell kits on ebay, but they usually cost about 100.00 for the decent kits. only clear bulbs though. and you have to drill a 1" hole away from everything so the strobe bulb heat doesn't melt the light.

Putting a real quality bright strobe in your front corner lights will melt the lenses. The corners are not deep enough for a real professional hide-away strobe to fit. One of those toys from the auto part stores will fit but you get what you pay for.

You can put the real amber hide-away strobes into the headlight assembly. It will work quite nicely. However, once you turn on your headlights, they will be washed out and nearly invisible.

You can put amber hideaway strobes into your reverse lights. It will fit and will work pretty good. I have clear strobes in mine but they used to be blue.

You can put strobes in the tail lights as well. However they are going to flash red rather than amber. You also lose some of the light since it is going through the red lense. The ones in the reverse lights are going through a clear lens so there is much less loss.

This kit is $160 with clear strobes. To make it all amber strobes, it will be $200. This is pretty typical.

i havent gotten around to putting it in yet, but i have a wigwag flasher box lying around. It was 35 bucks i think and it wires into my brights, so when i flash my brights it will do a 90 fmp alternating side to side.

I beg to differ about the corners b/c I have my Whelen strobes in them and have never melted the lenses in anyway. I've got a 6 outlet pack but only 4 strobes at the moment. 2 in the corners and tail lights. These are only gonna be in until I buy the new LED hideaways. Also run a headlight flasher and have a Knight Rider LED bar behind the grille.

Maybe the 2007 corners are different than the 2003? I tried it with mine. In order to just get the strobe to fit, I had to use rubber gasket material to prevent it from going all the way to the base of the strobe because the strobe tube would end up pushed against the plastic lens. And even with it shimmed back to fit, the heat melted the plastic lens on both sides. I still have one of them and can take a picture to show you what happened.

They melted the lenses on our 350 too. There is just not enough room in the corner lights to dissipate the heat properly. I can get pictures too if you need them for proof.

They must be different corner lights than a 2003 because the strobe tube literally does not fit at all on an '03 and similar.

the best kit ive seen and installed was a whalen kit 90watt. I can get the kit here for $250 out the door. I installed a set on saturn redline i used to have look just the police stobes!! RECOMMEND removing the headlight lense though because all the chrome plating turns to dust in your headlight that static clings to the inside......the kit comes with 4 bulbs all the wires power box, 16 way controller and you can add 2 more bulbs if you want. And Yes they have to be mounted in headlight and taillight.

Well I have a couple questions here....

Could I install these in my fog lights? and do away with the fog lights, and wire them to the fog light switch on the dash?

Also what kind of auto shop would install these?
