******URGENT HELP NEEDED***TRUCK TORN APART****NEED HELP******

OKAY I GOT PULLED OVER THIS MORNING BECUZ MY LISCENSE PLATE LIGHTS WERE OUT SO I WENT TO THE STORE AND BOUGHT NEW LIGHTS BULBS AND REPLACED IT BUT IT STILL DONT WORK SO AT THIS POINT I AM MAD BECAUSE OF THE FIX IT TICKET AND AFTER I ATEMPT TO FIX IT IT STILLS DONT WORK I THEN CONCLUDED THAT THE WIRES MUST BE BAD SURE ENOUGH I FOUND A BURNED UP ONE OR TWO AND I THEN CUT IT OFF AND RECRIMPED NEW WIRES IN BUT WHEN I RECRIMPED THEM ON I DID THE LEFT ON THE RIGHT SIDE, AND THE RIGHT ON THE LEFT SIDE!!!1!! NOW THE LIGHTS DONT HAVE ENOUGH ROOM TO GO TO THE CORRECT HOLES ON THE BUMPER!!! I DONT HAVE MORE BUT CONNECTORS AND I NEED THIS FIXED TONIGHT AS I HAVE A LONG DRIVE TOMORROW. I NEED HELP!!!!! WHAT DO I DO????

that sucks. here in Texas you just need 1 light illuminating your plate.

this is really bad you need a new truck

go to home depot, lowes, Walmart, local hardware store. Get a roll of wire and some splices and loom along with some electical tape and youll be all set.

On second thhought it shouldnt matter the element will fit in iether bumper hole.

same here in Minnesota. i took my right side license plate light out and replaced it with the connector to my boat trailer lights

lay off the billy mays button.....

forget the butt connectors for now...just cut and re-splice and wrap up with tape so at least it will work THEN go get some connectors and wire and re-do whatever you rigged up

well the short side goes to the right side driver and the long side goes to the passendger side.

I think this is a setup for a rollpan rear bumper. Theres plenty of wire there for factory lights.

Correction, you dont need it done by tonight. You have tell the fix it ticket says to fix it. If you get pulled over for it you show that Officer your fix it ticket. Doen deal. Gives you more time to fix whatever the hell you did.

a fix it ticket for a freaking license plate light??/ LOL, that sucks! I would tape a flashlight to the bumper and see if they will sign it off

dude a cop tried to write me a fix it ticket 3 days after i killed that honda, he was like you need to get that headlight fixed. i said uhh i was in a collision a few days ago . then he says "well im going to have to write you a ticket"
long story short, he wrote me a ticket, and nearly lost his job for being a dumb****
