bent tailgate?

bent tailgate?

was wondering how i fix this ... when i got the truck i noticed it latched kinda hard ... well today i was oiling the **** so it wouldnt squeck so much when i open it and noticed the left isnt latching at all now

that sucks. weird thing to get bent without noticing it.

i dont know much, but i would check to make sure the hinge isnt bent on the bedside of things.

It probably bent when you went back to CA, cause didn't you have a boat or something you brought back? As for fixing it, idk buy a new one lol

i did have the boat and the boat was resting more on the passenger side ... that would make sense.

put a 2x4 in the unbent side and slam ur weight on the bent side.
not too hard lol

if it goes up and down dont worrie about it lol well there are little rubber things inside the round piece where the tail gate hooks on the bed make sure they are still in there and didnt root out because my tail gate is off because i dont have them in there and i need to order new ones from lmc truck thats the only place that has them
