blowing leafs scratching?
Are blowing leafs scratching my paint? i come home and find that i have several small scratches and my truck is about 15 feet away from a tree, and it has been windy the past 2 days
|
It's possible... but unless it's a huge tree with huge leaves in a wind storm, I don't think so. Are there any cats around? That's how my hood got tons of scratches on it. Stupid ex-girlfriend...

yea the tree is about 50 feet tall and the leafs are pretty big, plus its been windy as hell the past 2 days

Stranger things have been known to happen... The paint on my first car would scratch if you looked at it wrong. Better give it a good wash and put on some a few coats of wax and see if the scratches go away.

Nothing a little Scratch-out and a good wax won't fix. |

Unless you have leaves like steel wool, I highly doubt it. I'd point towards general use of a shammy cloth or "dusting" the vehicle off with a towel being a more likely cause. But as mentioned in an earlier post, stranger things have happened. LOL |

LMAO, sorry man, it's too hard NOT to laugh. I don't think there's even been a thread regarding such a question on here. LOL

Are there any sticks on the ground near your truck????
|
naw not really, unless they are scratches that were already there and are just now showing from the dealer wax job?
|
Is your truck black? if its black someone could fart next to it, and the paint will immediately swirl mark. I love my DSG!:biggthump

well scratchs are appearing from no where man, like i washed it no scratches, gets windy and theres older "hard" leafs on the ground so i dunno, i just thought i would ask. I know it sounds funny but im serious, i let it air dry never touch it with a towel or a rag, never dust it, so i thought maybe someone else had some similar experiences
