Bumper/valance Repair

Alright, my Dad and I are going to try this by ourselves, I'm sure it'll turn out alright... But I need some tips on getting everytihing to run smooth.

The bumper has a ding (1/8" deep or so) and a nasty scratch that is down to the metal... I'm planning on filing the ding/scratch, but what do I fill it with?

The valance also has some nasty scrapes at the bottom of the valance... and it's covered in Duplicolor bed coating that is rubbing/chipping off in some spots... lasted 3-4 months...

I was thinking about bondo, but I don't think it's flexible enough... Or maybe some epoxy?

I would think Bondo on the ding and just put more bed coating on the valance so it looks good when you get rid of it.

At 8 bux a bottle, I can't just keep adding some when I see a chip... maybe I'll just order a replacement off eBay for 120 bux and paint it myself.
