Brighter tails?

I recently night-shaded my tails. I was wondering if there were any options available for brighter tail-lights.

Has anybody used led's for brake lights? Or is there a brighter bulb that I can use?

Post pics if you have any please!!!

Thanks guys.

Yeah, take off the night shade. You just made them the opposite of bright when you put on the night shade.

I've had niteshade for over a year, it's dark, but you can still see a bit of the red, kinda black cherry.

Looking at them at day and night, they are still visible. How dark did you go on yours?

I think the VLED's bulbs would work well though.

If you want a bright set of tails... NS or not, L1224R bulbs retrofitted in the housings are amazing.

LED High Output Bulb to replace the OEM Bulbs or a complete LED Smoked Tail Light.

I used the LED Tail Lights and they are bright.

Best I can do for a pic… these are complete replacement LED housings.

Also I changed the directionals/flashers over to the backup lights and put in 27W amber std bulbs.

I have the L1224Rs in my tails and they are Really Really Bright. When I had them in Nightshaded tails they looked about like the Regular Filament bulbs provided the Nightshade isnt too dark

I got mine from JP7 for $75 shipped with everything needed to do the retrofit.
