Brush Guard

Happy Sunday! Trying to find a brush guard that will fit a '94 Ranger 4x4 without modifications.Everywhere I've looked online that has new brush guards only goes back to about '98. No luck on ebay either. Any ideas? Have a long commute and seeing even more deer than usual, so would like to protect my front end if possible. Thanks!

I’m about to take off the brush guard that came with my 1998 Ranger when I bought it, where are you located? I’m in San Antonio, it needs a little straightening on the driver side but it’s just going to sit around my garage if no one wants it.

Thanks for the reply, that appears to be exactly what I'm looking for, would think it would fit a '94 too. How does it mount? Unfortunately I'm in Virginia, so packing and shipping might be cost prohibitive, but maybe not.

I’m new to the truck and won’t start any upgrades until after Christmas but I believe the bolts are under the front. Not sure how many bolts there is and not sure about how much shipping would be but if you are interested and want more info just let me know.

Really appreciate it, but think I had better look for something a little closer. I've ridden a bike from San Antonio to Va, so know it's a long way. You live in a beautiful part of the country! Thanks again!

Be aware that most brush guards on the market will actually do MORE damage to the truck when lightly hitting a deer. I've seen several trucks myself that ruined more panels than hitting the deer without the guard on. The problem comes from hitting the deer hard enough to where it pushed the brush guard back into the hood, and both fenders, lights, grille, etc. I wouldn't run one myself because of this.. I had a friend that had to spend over $2500 to replace the hood, fenders, lights, grille, and other associated parts because of a light deer strike with his brush guard. After that he fabricated his own guard, and it's so heavy he could hit a cow and not bend it, but the truck's frame would likely bend quite easily where it's mounted..

What I've done to avoid deer at all costs (over the last 25+ years, fingers crossed for the future) was to install a pair of Hella 7" 100watt foglights up front and turn them on whenever possible on the highway. My state laws allow this within 500ft of an oncoming vehicle. Those foglights have saved me from hitting more deer than I could possibly count. Several dozen over the years.. Those eyes light up like flashlights even when the deer are far away from the sides of the highway.
