Chrome Handles?

Well I think my tailgate handle is busted. One side sticks alot more than the other one. Either way, I'd kinda like to get some replacement handles for my tailgate and doors, but I think chrome ones would look great. Anyone know where I could get some?

I think I saw one on Ebay awhile back but other than that I haven't seen any, although I would like to get one too.

You can get a chrome metal tailgate handle on eBay, in the Help section at any parts store or at a junkyard. That will solve your tailgate handle problem.

I don't know of any chrome replacement handles for the doors, but Putco does make chrome covers for the original ones.

Well thanks for the tailgate handle! Those overlays are EXPENSIVE for not even being real handles! Anyone know where I could get full metal handles also?

Oh yeah my mistake. I've got the full metal tailgate found, but I'd like full metal door handles also.

No aftermarket ones either huh? Bummer... It'd look silly with just one handle being nice and shiny.

thats right yall dont shave shiit
yalll just add lights a little but of lift and think thats cool

it is cool i like the lifted trucks. i used to have one (and it had a shaved handle and emblem) but when you cant look passed that and see the other side and have some respect for that then you dont need to mod your truck, leave it stock and drive it. shaving is a mod but its not a body lift cranking the bars or adding 75 kc lights than it obvious you dont care about it.

Dude chill the hell out. I don't know what got your panties in a twist but I think that was totally uncalled for. Nobody was bashing your ride, he just said shaved handles are not his thing. I think shaved handles are cool but they're not particularly as practical as regular handles. It's also a more expensive mod than I was looking for. If I could get my tailgate handle shaved for 12 bucks, well I might do it then. I'm just looking for a nice little accent piece for my truck. I will agree Zach probably didn't say it in the nicest way he could have, but you don't need to jump down his throat either.

adding all these lights help you see the trail that you cant get past.
thats a good reason to do it.

Muddin is the devil. just because you can drive through a big mud puddle on the side of the road or on a construction site as well, I just choose not to. I have too much money invested in my *modified* suspension to try and mess it up. Cranking the torsion bar is still a stock component, just like coil spacers and 4WD lift blocks on a 2WD.

For those of you *hardcore* off roaders, why dont you try some rocks or REAL trails? Both mine and my brother's were 2WD, and while we both didnt try the rocks or deep mud, we knew it wouldnt do it when it was built. Every Off Road thread I see on here is trucks that cant do what they are trying to do trying to do it.

The thing you dont see about lowered trucks and even (dare I say?) ricers is that they both support the aftermarket in which you buy your parts too. Did you know that clear corners started as a ricer trend? How many of you, raise your hand, have clears on your trail (read - puddle jumper) rig? You need to look at the big picture.

Now back to the thread, all I was doing was offering my $.02, and its not cool thing to do with poser lifted 2WD (is your truck even lifted?). Ohh, well, ignore it or say "thats not for me", dont have to be hatin on it. Damn.

no way in hell do you have as much time in yours as they do unless youre electronically challanged and wire up the lights in series or something. coil spacer take about 20 minutes to put it so wheres the countless hours at? right now your at about half an hour.

you took your truck on real trial thats cool. how many puddles were there?
you couldnt have gooten far with the 2wd how long was your tow strap?? and i didnt say a word about your truck in that post all i did was ask if it was lifted. i wish i was cool enough to STUFF 32s under my truck. i had 33s on mine but i also had 7 INCHES of lift on there with plenty of clearance no stuffage. and if i insluted anybody with the 2wd deal it was me and my brother since we both have had lifted 2wd trucks. i for one am a street person so mine didnt see that much off road but my brother saw some but he didnt put it past its limits WHICH WAS THE WHOLE ****IN POINT ABOUT THE 2WD POSER ****. did your trail consist of a little bit of gravel headin to your barn or something. oh wait there might been a puddle there OH yeah we is off roading now

So is that why you can only install lights, because you dont have time to work on yours because you are working on theirs? Thats not cool, you need to tell them to share. Or did it just take just as long to install that weight reducing uni-wiper as it did the KCs?

And the Wheeling a 2WD, if you cant make it dont go, getting a tug once and a while is one thing, but every 30 feet is BS. When you go on a trail where people have rolled trying to get up a trench, then give me a call. Most ORV parks that civic you posted can go and make it through. Next time you go on any trail, please post pictures, because I can guarentee that one of our trucks (still talking about the 2WDs) have been down one worse.

Muddin is the devil because every time there is a muddin picture, there is water. Water into engine/transmission/t-case (if applicable) is not good. IT does bad things inside.

Talking about a mud puddle on a construction site went so far over your head you need a trampoline to even see it.

Watch out for grandma's driveway, its a doozy.

PS - I am on RPS, so they know me there. But good call

Wow, hmmm ok. Your both idiots arguing over what started with a shaved tailgate handle and Chris you took it way to far, way out of context of the post. Zach you need to quit being so agrumentative and step away from the keyboard.

Back on topic.

Since Rangers used to come with black plastic door handles and a metal tailgate handle, I think it will look fine and won't snap in the winter like the plastic one's are known to do.
