Extang RT Tonneau cover installed...
this is the Extang Roll Top tonneau cover installed, took about 30 minutes start to finish, all i needed was the supplied allen wrenches.
this one is made to work with the bed rails, so it fits closely inside the bed edges.
you just drop the tailgate, undo the rear latch of the tonneau plate, and roll it up from one side.
the fastex buckles near the front keep it rolled up.
Takes less than 10 seconds to roll it up (from one side), and maybe 40 to roll it down and lock the rear plate, and re-velcro the sides in place.
the gray dots in the tarp are bird crap, I get it installed, and while i'm taking pics, a bird craps on it, sum*****
lucky I didn't just wash the truck, a whole flock would've been waiting, no
doubt!

here ya go.
first pic shows the rear tarp locking plate just flipped up after unlock, its made of hollow extruded aluminum. A similar plate is at the front of the bed, and flips down, then locks in place with slide out clamps that go under the bed rails on either side.
Front rear and side rails all have weather seal on them.
the straps there on the back plate are to adjust tension on the tarp as it ages/stretches.
the tarp also has attached bow supports that roll up/down with the tarp, then properly tensioned, these are not visible at all.
the second pic is the tarp rolled up about 1/3rd way up the truck bed.
you can see the lock latch, the rail clamp, and the rail clamp associated cargo tie down.
